You might not have noticed, but a slip of your tongue revealed your dirty little secret. I ought to be disturbed, but instead I shall just use it as another example to support that personality trait of yours. It's what Lit students are taught to do, no matter how much the knowledge affects us. Character analysis.

Sarah insisted on practising passing the baton for the inter-class relays. It was all so funny because we were racing around the corridors, shouting and screaming, and the teachers in the classrooms looked out bewilderedly everytime we ran past their classes. Sports Day is scary. I hope nobody drops the baton or falls, just like Manisha did in Sec 2. Please please please. If we don't win, at least we should lose glamourously. Lolx.
This week has been totally hectic, with extension of choir to 6pm (12 hours of school on Wednesday, mind you) and the horrible tests. I am going to flunk A-maths. Badly. *sigh* Anyway, on Saturday I'm going to Orchard to get Youyi, Emm, Rachel and Gen their birthday presents. I wanted to watch Girl with a Pearl Earring as well, but then I figured that with all the present-shopping, I was going to be pitifully broke.
And good luck to all the Higher Chinese people for your O-level results tomorrow.

Finally collected my ice-skating certificates yesterday. I was surprised I could still remember the steps, well, some of them anyway. Also, I'm considering whether to go on Sunday morning, with Janet, because there are too many speed skaters on Saturday. Hmm. Wish Jonnasical was still there, wish I could continue learning skating.
I'm stopping ballet as well. Trying to. I just can't bear to sign the letter of termination, after learning for *counts with fingers* um, 12 years. Sigh. Later I will go and do it. But that's not the end of everything. After O's I shall learn dance at Cuppage Center, and next year I will join Rachel, Daphne and Liz at YMCA. Plus continue figure-skating. What I need is time. Lots of it.

The more I watch Smallville, the more I think Kristen Kreuk should be cast as Cho Chang in Harry Potter. She just
fits the character, unlike that Korean singer Boa who cannot even speak English properly. Hopefully the rumours about Boa playing Cho are untrue. They are auditioning for Viktor Krum in Bulgaria, so why can't they audition for Cho in Asia? Sigh. Anyway I agree with Gen's sister that Daniel Radcliffe is revolting and I would puke right on him if I ever do meet him.
I went for the tryouts today but did not run. It was optional, for as long as you could hide from the teachers. My sister got in, though - 100m sprint I think.
Physics and History test tomorrow. Eeek. I'll start revision later.

Had a fun time with Rachel at Orchard today. We went to Far East Plaza and took some Bimbo shots at the Neoprint shop. Then as we were walking to Cineleisure, I lost $2.50 to this donation guy, who Rachel insisted was trying to pick me up, until I told him I was Sec 4. Haha loo-ser, man. Wait a minute, do I look that Sec one-ish? Anyway we moved on to Heeren and I sat there with Rachel to wait for her darling Andrew. While people-watching we saw lots of gays wearing
baby pink tees, lots of weird people and one cute guy.

Irony appears in every twist and turn of life, it lurks in every corner. For those who notice, it makes them smile. A cynical smile, even a sad one. Sometimes it is painfully ridiculous how life makes fun of us in such an ironical way.
Her. Echoes of confusion lashing out like snakes in the dark. No one else must know. The secret burden is growing heavier, day after day. Her jaded body tugs at its shadow, dragging it along the dusty road of life. It is tormenting her, ripping her heart out slowly. Her candle of happiness used to burn with a white unwavering flame of intense brilliance. But no more. Someone is stealing her elixir of life, diminishing her hopes and dreams. But what can she do? It's either her friendship or life. With a silent sigh, she chooses the former.
It's the only thing special to me, the only thing which I could hold up and be proud of. It's my soul. Don't take it away. Please.

You are the blue moonlight. You are peaceful and
serene, kind and loving. Your heart never
stears you wrong. You let out uncertainess with
tears, and you let out fear with light. The
blue light means distance. You are afraid to
get to close to people. You have been betrayed
once before and can't do it again. Your dream
job could consist of a counsler or a traveler.
You love humanity and lonliness. You will have
love in your life and will never pass by
unnoticed. Your beauty attracts many, but your
personality is rare. The uniqness in your mind
will always separate you. You can always find
yourself lingering near the ocean, thinking
about life. Your head seems to be up in the
clouds, though you body is down on Earth. You
change and each time come back a better person.
The blue moonliht will always guide to safety
in the darkest hour.
What shade of moonlight are you? (Boys or Girls) brought to you by Quizilla

Had a nice time with Sarah and Qiu ying yesterday. We went to Far East Plaza, did some shopping, and then watched Lost in Translation. The show won 4 Golden Globe awards, 8 Academy Awards (i think), and Best Actor and Actress. Guess what? It was super boring and I was trying desperately to keep my eyes open in the cinema. I suppose it scores on style and scenery but there was no storyline. Strangely though, when I left the cinema my impression of the show improved. Anyway I need to go to Orchard again soon, realised that I'm really outdated and all the shops have changed their stocks. It's Spring/Summer collection now!
